Sterling Hurst
Sterling Hurst is a talented actor whose career began with a strong foundation in television commercials, where he represented over 50 well-known brands such as NASCAR, Duke Energy, and Mountain Dew. Making his mark in film, Hurst made his feature film debut in "Shifting Gears," sharing the screen with notable actors M.C. Gainey and M. Emmet Walsh. He continued to build his filmography with a role alongside Shawn Pyfrom in "Hard Surfaces," before transitioning to leading roles in three feature films.
One of Hurst's standout projects, "Small Group," received acclaim at the International Christian Film Festival, earning four nominations including Best Picture and a nomination for Hurst as Best Lead Actor. His exceptional performance in "Dark Harbor" garnered him the Best Supporting Actor award at WorldFest Houston, as well as the Best Actor accolade at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.
Originally from Virginia and raised in North Carolina, Hurst honed his craft with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he participated in a Meisner-based conservatory program. He further developed his skills in New York City, completing training in long-form improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, along with advanced acting classes. Hurst’s dedication to his craft and his impressive body of work have solidified his place in the entertainment industry.
