John Tokatlidis unearthed his love for acting during his high school years, where he took the initiative to produce and perform in various plays and assemblies for his peers and teachers. After earning his degree from McMaster University, John embarked on his professional acting journey by landing a role in The Second City's production of "Tony'n'Tina's Wedding," staged in Toronto.
His career quickly expanded into film and television, showcasing his talent in notable independent films such as "The End of Silence" (2006) and "Sweet Karma" (2009). Over the years, John has amassed an impressive portfolio, contributing to more than 30 film and television projects. His prominent roles include appearances in "Compulsion" (2013), the series "Private Eyes" (2016), and the darkly comedic film "Fatman" (2020). In 2023, he gained further recognition for his role in the critically acclaimed series "What We Do In The Shadows," which was nominated for an Emmy Award.
