Jim Harbaugh
James Joseph Harbaugh, born on December 23, 1963, is a prominent American football coach and former quarterback, currently serving as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. His collegiate career spanned from 1983 to 1986 at the University of Michigan, where he established himself as a standout quarterback. During his fifth year in 1986, he guided the Wolverines to the 1987 Rose Bowl and earned recognition as a Heisman Trophy finalist, placing third in the prestigious voting.
Harbaugh's professional playing career in the National Football League (NFL) extended across 14 seasons from 1987 to 2000, with his most notable stint occurring with the Chicago Bears. Transitioning into coaching, he led the San Diego Toreros from 2004 to 2006, followed by a successful tenure with the Stanford Cardinal from 2007 to 2010. His coaching prowess was further highlighted during his time as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014, where he achieved significant success, including a trip to Super Bowl XLVII.
