Scott Swope
Scott Swope, hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, is a multifaceted American actor with a diverse background that includes roles as a former Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Maryland and an Analyst for the Department of Defense. His athletic journey began at Washington and Lee University, where he excelled as a quarterback on the college football team. Following his collegiate career, Scott pursued opportunities in professional football, attending several free agent NFL camps and competing in semi-professional leagues for a number of years.
Scott's foray into acting started in the mid-1990s when he was cast as "The Razor" in a pilot for a Philadelphia-based local TV show reminiscent of "American Gladiators." Motivated by a friend's encouragement to explore acting further, he transitioned into this new career path, landing a variety of roles in television, film, and commercials.
He has appeared in several true crime series, including "For My Man," "Gone," "Copycat Killers," and "What Really Happened." Additionally, Scott had guest roles in popular series such as "House of Cards" and "VEEP."
