César Vicente, a Spanish actor, discovered his passion for the stage at just 12 years old during a school year-end dance. This experience ignited his confidence and set him on a path toward a career in performance. To hone his craft, Vicente pursued a dramatic arts education at Sevilla’s Viento Sur Teatro, where he immersed himself in the theatrical world for four years. His dedication soon paid off, leading to notable roles such as Elías, a savvy groundskeeper in the 2018 series A Different View, and a young Hernán Cortés in the 2019 historical drama Hernán.
However, it was Vicente's portrayal of Eduardo in Pedro Almodóvar's acclaimed 2019 film Pain and Glory that truly launched him onto the international stage. Reflecting on this pivotal role, Vicente shared, "My experience as Eduardo was the most wonderful time of my life," emphasizing how it allowed him to unlock his potential and apply his training. Eduardo, a significant yet secondary character in the life of Salvador Mallo, the film's protagonist, required Vicente to collaborate closely with Almodóvar, who meticulously developed the character with him.
Vicente is committed to continuously refining his craft, learning from every experience, and confronting challenges head-on.
