Arch Whiting, originally named Harold Joseph Archambault, was born on September 29, 1936, and passed away on May 7, 2007. He was an accomplished American television actor best remembered for his portrayal of "Sparks" in the iconic science fiction series *Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea*. This role showcased his talent in a genre that captivated audiences during the 1960s.

Following his success in *Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea*, Whiting took on the character of "Sgt. William Corey" in the NBC series *Run, Joe, Run*, further solidifying his presence on television. His performances in both series highlighted his versatility and ability to engage viewers.
