Stephen Grove Malloy hails from Frankfurt, Germany, and has since embraced a global identity. As a versatile character actor, Malloy received notable recognition in 2014, being awarded the NAACP Best Supporting Actor-Local for his compelling performance. He took on the role of Bill Rutherford, the Executive Director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), in Tracey Scott Wilson’s poignant Civil Rights play, "The Good Negro," which pays tribute to the humanity of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
