Kharaj Mukherjee

Kharaj Mukherjee, also known as Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, was born on July 7, 1963, and is a prominent Indian actor, songwriter, composer, and singer. He embarked on his cinematic journey with the Bengali film "Hulusthul" in 1980, marking the beginning of a prolific career that has spanned over three decades. Throughout his career, Mukherjee has appeared in a wide array of films, including notable titles such as "Patalghar," "Bye Bye Bangkok," "Kahaani," "The Namesake," "Accident," "Muktodhara," "Special 26," "Lafangey Parindey," "Yuva," "Parineeta," "Laga Chunari Mein Daag," "Chhaw-e Chhuti," and "Jaatishwar."

Under the guidance of the esteemed drama teacher Ramaprasad Banik, Mukherjee has honed his craft, earning recognition as one of the finest actors in India, celebrated for his versatility in both commercial and natural acting styles.
