Zheng Geping
Tay Kok Peng, widely recognized as Zheng Geping, is a prominent Singaporean actor and executive producer affiliated with Chinese-language Channel 8. His career in the entertainment industry began in 1987 after he completed the 7th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course at SBC, transitioning from his previous roles as a chef and Taekwondo instructor. Initially cast in various supporting roles, Zheng's perseverance led to a breakthrough moment at the Star Awards 2007, where he earned the Best Actor accolade for his outstanding performance in "Like Father, Like Daughter."
Following this pivotal win, Zheng's fame surged as he secured a place among the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes consecutively from 2009 to 2013.
