Nathalie Merchant
Nathalie Merchant, born to a Romanian mother and a father of Panamanian and Jamaican descent, experienced a multicultural upbringing that shaped her artistic sensibilities. At the tender age of 4.5, she made the significant move to Sweden, where she quickly became proficient in both Spanish and Swedish. After a year in Panama attending a Catholic school run by nuns, Nathalie successfully persuaded her mother to return to Sweden, where she continued her education at an American school.
Her educational journey took another turn in the 6th grade when she transitioned back to a Swedish school, eventually graduating from an International High School. Eager to broaden her horizons further, Nathalie spent her first year of high school studying abroad in Italy.
Upon completing high school, she pursued her passion for acting by enrolling at S.E.T Elementary Theatre School, which served as a stepping stone to the prestigious Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles. Nathalie dedicated 6.5 years to honing her craft in LA before making her way back to Sweden in late 2012, ready to embark on her professional journey in the arts. Throughout her career, she has become known for her dynamic presence and versatility as an actress, showcasing her talent across various platforms.
