Eirini Inglesi, born in 1944, is a distinguished Greek actress renowned for her compelling performances in both film and television. She developed a strong collaborative relationship with acclaimed director Pantelis Voulgaris, featuring prominently in many of his notable films, including "Stone Years," "Vanizelos," "Quiet Days of August," "Acropol," "Brides," and "Little England." Her remarkable talent was recognized at the Thessaloniki Film Festival in 1997 when she earned the Best Actress award for her role in Pericles Hoursoglu's "The Gentleman in Grey."
In addition to her work with Voulgaris, Inglesi showcased her versatility in various other significant projects, such as "Starry Dome" directed by Kostas Aristopoulos, "Dead Liquor" by Giorgos Karypidis, "Alexandria" by Maria Iliou, and "The Slaves in Their Fetters" by Tonis Lykouressis. Her television career was equally impressive, with memorable roles in series like "The Ten," "The Teacher with the Golden Eyes," "Get Out," "Temptation," and "The Life of Atticus."
On a personal note, Eirini was married to composer Thanos Mikroutsikos, and the couple welcomed two daughters, Cecile and Konstantina.
