Craig McGinlay
Craig McGinlay is a talented Scottish actor renowned for his portrayal of Sir Percival in the epic film *King Arthur: Legend of the Sword*. Born and raised in Paisley, near Glasgow, he is the son of Ronnie, a lawyer, and Hazel. McGinlay initially pursued a career in sports, earning a degree in sports science from the University of Stirling and playing rugby at a competitive level until an injury in 2004 curtailed his athletic aspirations. Following this setback, he transitioned to a role as a fitness coach.
In 2013, his life took a new turn when he was discovered by a modeling agency in Glasgow. This breakthrough led him to relocate to London in 2014, where he secured representation from Independent Talent Agency and Select Model Management, as well as other agencies in Milan, Newcastle, and Manchester. McGinlay has modeled for high-profile brands such as Nike, Trespass, Ray-Ban, and Land Rover.
His career took a significant leap after he starred in a Haig whisky commercial directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie. This opportunity paved the way for McGinlay's casting as Percival in *King Arthur: Legend of the Sword*, a film that also featured David Beckham and was directed by Ritchie.
