Dr. Jill Peterman, a once-celebrated relationship therapist, faces a crisis after a female caller named Alexis tragically takes her own life during a live broadcast. Shattered, Jill abandons her popular radio show, but the station's General Manager, Stuart, urges her to return to revive their dwindling audience.
