Love and Bullets (1979)

Jackie Pruit finds herself in peril as the girlfriend of infamous mobster Joe Bomposa. When threats against her life arise, the FBI steps in, hoping she holds crucial evidence against him. Veteran agent Charlie Congers is tasked with her protection, but soon realizes Jackie knows little about Bomposa that could aid their case. As he develops feelings for her, Bomposa decides to eliminate Jackie altogether, ordering her assassination. Despite FBI safeguards, his henchmen succeed, igniting Congers' fury and setting the stage for a violent confrontation as he seeks revenge for her death.
