Alice and Niklas, a young couple longing for a child, face heartbreak after numerous unsuccessful attempts at conception. Seeking solace, they escape to Sardinia for a much-needed holiday. Their vacation takes an unexpected turn when they encounter an Austrian family that appears to embody their dreams of parenthood.
