In "The 'Burbs," Ray Peterson, a laid-back suburbanite, finds his peaceful life disrupted when mysterious new neighbors arrive next door. As curiosity turns to suspicion, Ray and his friends become increasingly convinced that the newcomers are up to no good, prompting them to launch their own investigation. However, this unexpected turn of events is far from the relaxing vacation Ray envisioned, which typically includes enjoying cold beers, reading the newspaper, and catching a ball game on television.
