Griff McCleary, a troubled cop, grapples with the aftermath of his son’s accidental shooting a year prior, which has left him and his wife Olivia in emotional turmoil. Feeling increasingly isolated from Olivia, Griff opts to leave their home. As he delves into a case that seems to be a murder-suicide, doubts arise about the circumstances surrounding it. His pursuit of the truth brings him to a young woman named Nikki, whose connection to the case could hold the key to unraveling the mystery and confronting his own pain.
