The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath! (1975)

A group of friends celebrates New Year's Eve at their favorite public bathhouse, where excessive drinking leads to two of them passing out. Sasha needs to travel to Leningrad, but Zhenya mistakenly takes his place. Awakening at the airport, Zhenya, disoriented and thinking he’s still in Moscow, hops into a cab and heads home. The uncanny similarities between the two cities' architecture lead to a shocking encounter when Nadya finds a pantsless stranger in her bed. Chaos ensues as her fiancé arrives, adding to the hilarity of the mix-up.
