A massage therapist striving to break free from her addictions and rebuild her bond with her son relocates to New Jersey after accepting an invitation from a former wealthy client. Her son’s father, an anthropologist, is immersed in studying the Yanomani tribe in South America, leaving her to navigate this new life alone. As she adjusts to her affluent surroundings, she confronts her past struggles while seeking a fresh start for both herself and her son. Tensions rise as the challenges of addiction and motherhood intertwine in unexpected ways.
