Terako, a young woman without a job, becomes involved with Iwanaga, a married man whose wife is in a coma. Following the heartbreaking suicide of a close friend, Terako falls into a profound emotional depression, retreating into a sleepy existence. Her only moments of clarity come when Iwanaga calls, forming a fragile link to reality. As she navigates her troubled relationship, Terako must confront the consequences of her actions and the loneliness that accompanies her choices, leading her to question the very nature of her existence.
