Set against the rugged backdrop of Nevada, tensions rise as Pete Menlo and his old friend Andy Martin team up to claim gold. Their partnership faces a challenge when crooked mine-owner Bannon proposes a merger to monopolize the region, but Pete refuses. Complicating matters, Pete is infatuated with Nevada Wray, the daughter of mine-owner "Jackpot" Wray, who only has eyes for Andy. Betrayed and desperate, Pete allies with Bannon, leading to a dangerous showdown as they discover that "Jackpot" might control all the gold, putting Andy's life at stake.
