Katherine and Hugh, a couple from Cape Town, set off for their secluded mountain retreat, only to encounter a mysterious hitchhiker named Liza, who ominously carries a gun. Initially, they invite her to join them for lunch, but her presence quickly becomes more troublesome than anticipated. As they attempt to shake her off, the couple finds themselves ensnared in a tense and unsettling scenario, where the line between hospitality and danger blurs.
