Shannon Sadler confronts every parent's nightmare when his 18-year-old daughter, Mattie, disappears during the Christmas season. An urgent investigation begins, led by the relentless Detective Truely, who initially focuses on Mattie’s boyfriend when he’s discovered covered in blood.
