Eddie and Lou, two small-time con artists evading a loan shark, find refuge in an empty house. They stumble upon a voicemail revealing that the homeowner is abroad for a couple of months and the housesitter has taken a new job elsewhere. Seizing the opportunity, Eddie poses as the housesitter, leading to a series of comedic misadventures. Just when they think they’re in the clear, the homeowner’s relatives unexpectedly arrive, complicating their ruse and igniting a chaotic whirlwind of deception and hilarity as they scramble to maintain their facade.
