In "In Her Shoes," carefree and reckless Maggie finds herself homeless after being evicted from her father and stepmother's house. She moves in with her responsible sister Rose, a dedicated lawyer in Philadelphia. However, Maggie's chaotic lifestyle soon disrupts Rose's romantic relationships, leading Rose to ask her to leave.
