As a child, Emma endured a harrowing upbringing under an abusive father, finding solace in her imaginary friend. Now an artist battling mental health issues, she lives with her seemingly caring husband, Brad. However, the return of her imaginary friend signals a decline in her mental state. Determined to reclaim her life and prove her stability to Brad, Emma resorts to extreme actions to rid herself of both her mental anguish and the resurfacing presence of her childhood companion.
