Taeko and her husband, Jirō, enjoy a serene life with their young son, Keita, until a devastating accident introduces Park, Keita’s estranged father, back into their world. As she grapples with her feelings of sorrow and guilt, Taeko becomes determined to assist Park, a deaf and homeless man. Through their unexpected connection, Taeko navigates her complex emotions and redefines her understanding of family, love, and responsibility.
