Officer Brian Keith strives to maintain harmony, but his efforts are complicated by Ernest Borgnine, a bumbling sheriff eager to rally the local militia at a moment’s notice. Meanwhile, Tony Curtis portrays a womanizing sergeant whose reckless behavior lands him in hot water and ultimately behind bars.
