Thornton Sayre, a well-regarded college professor, is unsettled when his past as a silent film action hero resurfaces on television, threatening his academic reputation and personal privacy. Determined to put a stop to the broadcasts, he confronts the situation head-on. Complicating matters, his former co-star now hosts the show featuring their old films and has her own intentions. As Thornton navigates this unexpected twist, he must grapple with the intersection of his past and present, and the impact it has on his life.
