Jeff and Anne, high school guidance counselors and close friends, feel trapped in their responsible and predictable lives while watching their peers thrive romantically. Frustrated by their romantic failures, they decide to shed their mundane personas and embrace more adventurous, confident versions of themselves. They bid farewell to Jeff’s awkward book club and Anne’s futile crush on Jeff’s attractive neighbor, Max. As they dive into a summer of wild parties, drinks, and unexpected encounters, they quickly discover that their new lifestyle brings its own set of complications and challenges.
