Sergio Konstanza, a con artist in deep debt to Mr. Hasson, seeks refuge in the desert. There, he inadvertently becomes part of a quirky army reserve unit led by a Sergeant engaged to one of Hasson's daughters. As Sergio navigates this unconventional military life, he must balance his past misdeeds with the absurdity of his new surroundings, all while trying to evade the consequences of his financial troubles.
