Bud Hooper, a cadet at Winsocki Military Academy, reaches out to invite the famous actress Lucille Ball to their upcoming dance. Her agent, eager for publicity, persuades her to attend, seeing it as a perfect opportunity to enhance her fame. However, things become complicated when Bud's girlfriend, Helen Schlesinger, unexpectedly arrives at the event as well.
