Bobby Kellar harbors feelings for Lainie Diamond, who is dating the arrogant Joel. Meanwhile, Coleman is experimenting with a project that allows him to access a realm where dreams come alive. An unexpected mishap leads Coleman to inhabit Bobby’s body, leaving him only able to communicate with the teenager through their shared dreamscape. As the two navigate this surreal experience, Bobby must grapple with his feelings for Lainie while Coleman attempts to find a way back to his own life, resulting in a tangled web of romance and self-discovery.
