A series of mysterious vanishings occur near the ocean, with victims discovered stripped to their bones, devoid of even marrow. Scientists are baffled by the gruesome findings. Dr. Turner suspects that a construction company, engaged in tunneling beneath the bay, may have contaminated the waters, leading to the monstrous growth of an octopus. As he investigates further, the threat of this mutated creature looms large, challenging the town's safety and sparking a race against time to uncover the truth behind the horrifying disappearances.
