Olga, Katya, and Andrey have been friends since childhood, navigating their adult lives in Moscow as successful professionals—Olga as an actress, Katya in PR, and Andrey as a political analyst. They indulge in material comforts, buying cars and homes, yet find themselves unfulfilled. Their lives echo a deep sense of discontent, a lingering realization that something essential is missing. Growing up in the Soviet era, they once aspired to be heroes, but those grand dreams have faded into a pursuit of stability. Now, they find themselves merely performing the roles expected of them, trapped in a mundane existence.
