Two policemen are tasked with scrutinizing the backgrounds of foreigners seeking Swiss citizenship in this romantic drama. Among the diverse applicants are a French psychiatrist and his wife, who secure their status with ease, while a ballet dancer presents complications due to her tumultuous lifestyle.
