Spike and his sister Anjela navigate life in the oppressive confines of the Terrordome, a sprawling ghetto for Black residents. When Jodie, Spike's pregnant white girlfriend, flees her abusive boyfriend, trouble follows her. The boyfriend's vengeful trap leads to the tragic death of Spike's young nephew, Hector. Devastated, Anjela embarks on a violent spree against the police. Her actions ignite a fierce conflict between Spike and his brother-in-law, deepening the existing racial tensions within the community and escalating the impending race war in the Terrordome.
