Tyron is a standout college basketball player, poised to be a high pick in the NBA draft. However, the mounting pressure to excel academically begins to affect his game. Just when things seem to spiral out of control, his brother Blak is released from prison and encourages him to return to their family's drug dealing operation. In a desperate attempt to keep Tyron focused, his coach pairs him with Carmen, a tutor who captures his heart and offers him a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos.
