Giuliano, a theatre actor facing declining health, is visited by childhood friend Tommasso, marking a poignant reunion after years apart. As Giuliano chooses to forgo treatment, he dedicates his final days to settling his affairs, including finding a loving home for his cherished dog, Pato. Over four days, the duo strolls through the streets of Rome, exploring bookshops, dining at restaurants, and connecting with old friends. Their journey becomes a reflective exploration of their pasts and a contemplation of what lies ahead, blending nostalgia with a sense of acceptance.
