Karl Kinsky, a disturbed tattoo artist, fixates on Maddy, a model he encounters during a body-painting job for a photoshoot featuring women adorned with faux tattoos. His infatuation spirals into a dangerous obsession, compelling him to believe that Maddy must carry his "mark" for eternity.
