A quiet tension of looming change weaves through scenes from director Aragon Yao’s life. Calls from his parents in China, asking about marriage, mix with calls from his boyfriend, asking about work—each reminding him that his student visa in Europe is nearly up. As time runs out, Yao confronts hard questions about family, culture, and identity. Seeking escape, he turns to drag. Blending documentary moments, paper puppetry, and poetic imagery, Yao explores queer expression in this meditation on sexuality, migration, and performance.
