Ralph, a towering 9-foot villain from the arcade game Fix-It Felix Jr., is tired of being the bad guy. Determined to change his fate, he leaves his game in search of redemption and finds himself in the intense shooter Hero's Duty, aiding the hero against alien foes. His journey continues as he enters the whimsical world of Sugar Rush, a candy-themed kart racer. There, he encounters Vanellope von Schweetz, who reveals a looming danger that threatens not only her game but the entire arcade, a crisis that Ralph may have unwittingly triggered.
