Seventeen-year-olds in the Netherlands can seek legal help for assisted suicide, and nineteen-year-old Veda is resolute in her decision after battling severe mental health issues, panic attacks, and multiple suicide attempts. Feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by life, she is determined to end her suffering. However, the process requires her to undergo nine months of therapy before her request can be evaluated by medical professionals. As Veda navigates this challenging journey, she confronts her pain and contemplates the meaning of life and the hope for healing.
