Claire juggles her life as a young mother and wife to Georges while secretly engaging in an affair with Antoine, a charming bachelor who is also the kept man of her affluent friend Madeleine, a fashion designer. Their clandestine rendezvous at Antoine's apartment occur five afternoons a week, but their secretive romance unravels when both Georges and Madeleine discover the truth. As the consequences of their hidden lives begin to unfold, Claire must confront the complexities of love and loyalty in a tangled web of relationships.
