Eighteen-year-old Ashley is lost, caught up with the wrong crowd and trying to flee the chaos at home. Her life takes a turn for the better when a handyman, fixing up her family's house, inspires her to volunteer for a Christmas play for underprivileged kids. As Ashley immerses herself in helping others, she begins to mend her own family's struggles. Through acts of kindness, they all learn about the profound difference one person can make and the true spirit of giving during the holiday season.
