Nina seems to lead a blissful life with her husband, Alexandr, a Sinology professor. However, mounting mortgage debt starts to strain their marriage. When she crosses paths with Sergey, the bank manager overseeing Alexandr's loan, a passionate affair ignites. Though her connection with the married Sergey hints at turmoil, Nina discovers what she believes is genuine love for the first time. As emotions intensify, she must confront the complexities of her choices and the consequences they may bring to her already fragile relationship.
