Travis, a divorced architect and father of two, struggles with his mischievous dog, Lucky, who disrupts his dating life. His luck seems to turn when he meets Amber, a fellow architect whose dog, Cassie, offers Lucky a potential companion. Despite their growing attraction, competition arises when their firm is tasked by affluent Preston Spencer to create a destination retreat on Catalina Island. Tensions mount as Travis must not only navigate professional rivalry but also contend with Spencer's unexpected interest in Amber, threatening to derail his budding romance.
