Karate champion Michael Rivers celebrates the end of his career, only to be drawn into a dangerous world by unscrupulous businessman Ron Hall, who tempts him with an illegal Kumite in Bulgaria. When Michael refuses, Hall retaliates by kidnapping his daughter, forcing Rivers to enter the brutal tournament to save her. In Bulgaria, he discovers that other fighters share his plight. Teaming up with trainers Master Loren and Julie Jackson, Michael must confront not only elite martial artists but also the dire stakes of the competition to rescue his daughter and reclaim his honor.
