A South American shaman arrives in France for a public relations initiative and encounters the disinterested Frenchman, Perrin, in a hotel elevator. Intrigued by Perrin, the shaman follows him to his apartment, where Perrin reluctantly allows him to stay the night. However, after an official event the following day, the shaman suffers a heart attack. Struggling to communicate from his hospital bed, he requests to see Perrin, who is less than eager to oblige. As the two navigate their unexpected connection, it becomes clear that their fates are inexplicably intertwined.
