Three hapless stooges find themselves in hot water after witnessing an armed robbery, leading to their brief detainment as suspects. Clearing their names with a lie detector test, they become the sole witnesses capable of identifying the thieves. Meanwhile, Gladys, a friend of the trio, has inherited a country house, and they accompany her to ensure she won’t be cheated in its sale. To their shock, the house is actually a hideout for the criminals, who kidnap Gladys. The stooges must band together to save her from the clutches of the crooks.
